Whisky 11 is an independent software and AI engineering practice run by Ahmad
Sharaf. It builds systems that companies depend on daily — then makes sure the
people who own them can operate them without the person who built them.

## Where we work
Fully remote. No physical premises and no walk-in office — the company is based
in Egypt and works with clients across Europe, the United States, and MENA.
Working hours overlap the full European business day and the US East Coast
morning.

## What we build
- Multi-tenant e-commerce platforms with real accounting behind them: orders,
  inventory, double-entry books, P&L and balance sheet per store, bank
  reconciliation, expense OCR, deadstock and reorder scanning.
- WhatsApp as a sales channel for MENA markets: ordering, notifications and
  cart-recovery flows, with the consent, rate limits and stop conditions that
  keep a business number alive.
- AI systems grounded in a client's own data — catalogue, history, rules —
  rather than a wrapper around a public model, and with a failure mode that can
  be described in one sentence.
- Bilingual Arabic/English storefronts where the RTL actually holds up:
  invoices, search, SMS, and mixed Latin-in-Arabic text.

## How we work
- Done means someone opened the real page. Merged is not deployed; deployed is
  not live.
- A reported bug is treated as a sample of a class — the cause is found and every
  other instance of it is fixed in the same pass.
- Backups are restored before launch, not merely scheduled.
- Alerting and log retention are wired before go-live, not after the first outage.
- The client keeps the keys, the data, and the ability to leave.
