Ahmad Sharaf
Founder · Software & AI engineer
I build systems people can depend on, then make sure the people who own them can run them.
From robotics to real-world software
I'm Ahmad Sharaf, founder of Whisky 11, an independent software and AI engineering studio founded in December 2025. I work between Egypt and Kuwait, collaborating remotely with clients across the US, Europe and the GCC.
My background is in Mechatronics Engineering, specialising in Robotics and AI. That shapes how I approach software: understand the whole system, design for the ways it can fail, and prove that it works where people actually use it.
Through Whisky 11, I engineer commerce platforms, business tools, websites, mobile apps and AI automation. Force AI and Ebda AI Studio are clients of Whisky 11.
How I think about the work
A demo is a starting point. What matters is what happens when a customer places an order, a team member changes a price, or something breaks on a real device.
I start with the operator's workflow, test the actual path, and build in clear recovery procedures. When a fault appears, I look for its root cause and the other places it can occur. Handover means the team has the documentation, accounts and understanding to keep going.
Whisky 11's name carries two personal connections: a passion for aviation, reflected in Taxiway Whisky / Runway 11, and a tribute to Whisky, a loyal Golden Retriever.
